About Gurredam :
In the northern part of Sealand, the same island where our capitol Copenhagen is, due West of the city of Helsingør. Getting there you jump on the train from Copenhagen toward Helsingør, approx. one (1) hour, where you catch a public bus going by the scout centre.
By car the centre can be reached by taking the highway from Copenhagen towards Helsingør. Exit the road at the sign saying "Espergærde/Ålsgårde", and drive towards Ålsgårde for about 2 km. Hereafter, you turn left towards Gurre, and in town turn towards Helsingør. The centre will be visible on the left side of the road after about 1km.
Trains leave from selected Copenhagen stations to Helsingør several times every hour. Arriving at Helsingør station an hour later, jump on bus number 331. If you choose to get off at Espergærde station, you take bus number 345. Both bus 331 and 345 leave toward the village Gurre hourly on week days, and every other hour on the weekends.
